I'm in the computer lab again!!!

Hello everyone,!

Here I am in the computer lab again. Right now, I'm with class 26. They are all working very hard on their blogs. I am so proud of them!!! Sometimes they are very good students :=)

Anyway, I am so busy right now because it is the end of the semester and there is so much to do. I already have to start planning for next semester. I need some advice from my students. Please help me! Do you think that the book reports were useful? Did you like reading books? Please let me know in my comments box. I really appreciate it! I had a lot of fun discussing the books after we read them, but I want to know if you think they helped you with your English.

Later gator!

It's so weird, I'm in the computer lab right now, and my blogger page is in Japanese. I wonder why. Oh well, I guess it is good practice for my Japanese skills, even though this is ENGLISH class.

I went to the coolest place this past weekend. I met my friends Jessica and Leighton from Canada (actually Jessica is American), and together with Janet (a teacher here at Kansai Gaidai) and Taka (Japanese friend) we all went to the Gyoza Stadium in Umeda. It was amazing. There were gyoza from all over Japan. We ate gyoza from Shiga, Osaka, Kyushu, Shizuoka, Tokyo and many other places too. My favourite gyoza were from Kyushu. They were spring onion gyoza. Yum! After we ate all of the delicious gyoza we took pricura (am I a Japanese teenage girl????) It was lots of fun. If you are ever hungry in Umeda, go and try these gyoza from all over Japan!

Here I am at Shiga Kogen Posted by Hello

I can't believe that the semester is almost over. I guess time flies when you are having fun. Today was a really nice day because it started snowing. I was surprised when I looked outside the window of my classroom, and I could see the big fluffy white flakes. It was really nice. I love snow. I love it so much that even after I came back from the cold weather in Canada, one of the first things I did was go skiing in Shiga Kogen. It was really wonderful. The snow was excellent, and the skiing was perfect. In fact, I thought Shiga Kogen is one of the best places I have ever skied in my life. I was also surprised because I saw one of my students there. My student Hideaki was working there during the holiday, and when I saw him he had a snowboard. He looked really cool. I have never tried snowboarding before. I heard it is a lot more difficult that skiing.

The best part about my holiday in Shiga Kogen was that I went to go and visit some monkeys in an onsen! They were totally cute and awesome. I love them. I wish I could visit them every week!

Well, here I am back in Japan. I had a nice time in Canada, but it was really, really cold. I don't think I am used to -20 degrees Celcius anymore. However, I was really glad to see all my family and friends despite the cold. Also, I did a lot of shopping. I had forgotten how cheap things are in Canada. I bought lots of pants, shirts, socks, underwear, and ski wear. I hope I can go skiing a lot this winter. It is my favourite sport!

I was shocked at what happened in the Indian Ocean during the holidays. I have never heard of such a terrible disaster before. I feel so sorry for all the poor people affected by this tragedy. I hope we can help these people out someway. We will have to talk about it in class. If anyone has a good idea about how we can help, please make a comment on my blog.

See you all soon.
